The Letcher Town Board met in Special session on Thursday, June 19, 2008 to approve the following Brown Bag permit for the Meier Enfield Benefit, June 21, 2008.

WHEREAS: SDCL 35-1-5.3 as amended, grants the governing board authority to allow mixing and/or consuming of alcoholic and malt beverages upon public or non-profit corporation property within the jurisdiction of the municipality;

WHEREAS: the governing board has duly considered the request of the Meier Enfield Benefit for permission in accordance the said SDCL;

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED: that the governing board hereby issues this permit to the Meier Enfield Benefit for Letcher Ball Park on June 21, 2008.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: the authorized period of time shall not exceed 24 hours and shall not exceed the hours permitted for on-sale license.
