A special board meeting was called by Mayor Chada to meet with Dave Lambert of the Mitchell Area Development Corporation.  In attendance were Ackman, Knutson, and Moody .   The purpose of this meeting was for Mr. Lambert to explain the Area Development’s goals and benefits of being a member.

A motion by Moody, 2nd Knutson was made to issue payment to the MADC for Letcher’s yearly membership in the amount of $2000.00.

Knutson will solicit residents of the Letcher area to serve on a board working as a branch of the Letcher Community Development foundation who will report to the board quarterly.

The meeting was adjourned.
