Mayor Chada called an information meeting to order with Ackman, Moody, Knutson, and Hoffman in attendance as well as Terry Aakers – SPN, and Sherry Hanson – Sanborn County Conservation.

This meeting was a result of contact made earlier in the day with DENR and District III in regards to replacement of the water system being placed on the State Water Plan.  The board felt that we definitely needed more information before proceeding.  Terry Aakers explained the process and funding that may be available if we are accepted.

Sherry Hanson has been working with other agencies to assist in our Lake project.  She had some question as to what the top priority would be for the board in restoring the lake. The board obtained the needed information to pursue both projects.
