Mayor Chada called the meeting to order at 7:10 with Ackman, Knutson, and Moody in attendance.
The board reviewed the assessment rolls.
There being no further business the board of equalization adjourned at 7:45 and continued to meet as the regular board.
Jessica and Dawna VanOverschelde met with the board to discuss horseshoe pits that the Butler Boosters had been awarded a grant for. The board agreed that the lake park area would be a great place for the pit and thanked Jessica for her efforts in improving the parks.
Moody moved, Chada second to approve the minutes of the March 5, 2007 meeting.
Motion by Knutson, 2nd Moody to approve the financial reports as presented.
Discussion was held on the reduction of a water bill for hunting lodges not in use.
Chada shared with the board information he has gained for the car and tractor show.
Ackman was directed to advertise for concession operators and mosquito management for the summer of 2007.
The Artesian CIA will again be responsible for the coaches for the ball season.
Chada will contact F. Mentele for street blading.
A motion by Knutson, 2nd Moody was made to approve claims of $353.90 from the general fund for wages.
There being no further business the meeting was adjourned.
