Following the equalization meeting, Mayor Chada called to order a special meeting of the Letcher Town Board with Moody, Ackman, and E Hoffman in attendance.

Discussion was held on Moody’s board retirement.  She will continue to book the community center and mop it.

A motion by Chada, 2nd Moody carried to declare to monitors (library), a floor scrubber (Community Center), and a generator trailer as surplus.  The trailer will be sold with sealed bids.

Ackman was instructed to call Mentele for blading while the weather cooperates.

New business: Ackman has a call in to Mark Meyer in regards to the food plain information received from FEMA.  At this time he doesn’t think it will affect Letcher, but will confirm with FEMA.

A motion by Moody, 2nd Chada, carried to approve a brown bag permit for the LVFD Poker Tourney March 28, 2009.

A motion by Moody, 2nd Chada carried to continue the Little League agreement with the CIA.  Each community will split the cost of the program 50%.

A motion by Chada, 2nd Moody, carried to continue the agreement with L Miller and T Moody to operate the concession stand at the ball park.

The following claims were approved for payment: CAN Surety $225.00 bond, Sanborn Journal $59.77 printing, Wages $715.11.

There being no further business the meeting was adjourned.
