The next Letcher Alumni Banquet is scheduled for Saturday, June 9, 2007.
It will be held in conjunction with Letcher's 125th Anniversary Celebration on June 8, 9 and 10, 2007.
Former Letcher High School students should appreciate this picture below.
A blackboard was recently removed in the Social Studies room at the Letcher School,
revealing another blackboard underneath that still had this writing on it. Most will recognize it as something
from Mrs. Edwards' typing class! Yes, the Social Studies room is the former
room of Mrs. Edwards. Typing is now called keyboarding, and it's taught in
the computer lab.
